Why Try Microblading?

Eyebrows have arguably become one of the most important facial features. It seems that majority of women nowadays prefer a fuller brow and with so many eyebrow pencils, powders and pomades to choose from it is easier than ever to achieve any look you’re going for. However, there is a new and improved, semi-permanent option called microblading that can give you that affect without having to go through the tedious process of doing it every day.

Unlike the harsher look you get from permanent make up, microblading involves mapping out your brows so that they’re exactly the shape you’d like for them to be and then using a blade you make each individual stroke to look like your actual hairs, achieving a very full and natural look.

The artist first begins by putting a topical numbing cream on your skin to minimize discomfort throughout the service. They then map out your brows to make sure they will both be even and will line up in the exact spots that they are supposed to. Once they begin the microblading process, the artist pays close attention to every detail to make sure each stroke lines up with each other to give a very real effect. The entire service takes about two hours and the results can last up to three years, but it is recommended to make a touch up appointment at least four weeks after the original session.

The best part about microblading is that there isn’t any down time. There is minimal swelling, minimal scabbing and aside from a little redness, you’ll be able to carry on with your day without worrying about your skin looking too aggravated to be carrying out your daily activities.

So if you’d like to shorten your morning routine and you’d like to have smudgless brows all day long, microblading is definitely something you should consider!
